Harihar and Bhaskar gad are the adjacent forts located along the Trimbakeshwar mountain range of the Sahyadri. The Harihar fort is famous for its steep rock steps, while the nearby Bhaskar gad is though not so well known. To keep vigil on a trade route of Gonda ghat both the forts were built.
Harihar fort is only accessible through a narrow rocky steep staircase, with grooves to hold. Though it’s not easiest way to ascend, it’s definitely worth the experience! It will be an adventures hike you are looking for.
Bhaskar gad is the offbeat trail near Harihar. Very similar to Harihar, instead of steep rock steps here a serpentine rock steps ladder takes you uphill. The rockface carved out to create entrance gate route and made through the walls.
A panoramic view of surrounding Trimbakeshwar range is fascinating.
Join us for a thrilling experience.

- Thrilling hike to steep rock steps of Harihar fort.
