(Altitude - 9,150 to 11,000ft; 5.5 km trek, 5 hrs) Wake up early to enjoy mountain morning. Today we will head to Shekwas our next camp. Very soon after you start the walk, you will enter the woods of pine. While going ahead don’t forget to look back for the mesmerizing view of Lidder river valley. As we trek along babbling crystal clear streams, soon arrive at the expansive grassland of Shekwas. This vast green meadows extended till horizon and blends with misty snowcapped mountains. Spend your evening at the breathtaking Shekwas campsite.
(Altitude - 11,000 to 12,500ft; 5 km trek, 4 hrs) Enjoy your morning at great meadows of Shekwas. Today we will head to Tarsar Lake, first of the two magnificent lakes.
